DMHA Yearbook 2007-2008

The DMHA is pleased to announced Andrew John Publishing as the developer and printer of the 2007-2008 DMHA yearbook.
Should you wish to submit photos please send to info@andrewjohnpublishing.com. All pictures must be submitted no later than February 18th. Note that not every picture submitted will be used.

Rep Coaching Applications

DMHA Rep Hockey 2008-2009 - Rep Coaching Applications
Please be advised that the process of selecting REP Coaches for the 2008-2009 season is now underway. The Rep Coaching Applicaiton Form for next season will be posted on the DMHA Website shortly.
Until such time as the application form has been posted, if you intend to apply for a DMHA Rep Coaching position for the 2008-2009 Season, please contact the DMHA by email at dmha@sympatico.ca to allow the association the opportunity to gauge the level of interest for all divisions.
Coaching positions available for next season are as follows: Tyke, Novice, Atom AE, Atom, Peewee AE, Peewee, Bantam AE, Bantam. We also plan to run 2 Midget teams for 2008-2009 for a total of 10 Rep Teams. Due to the 3 year age span at the Midget level - 15, 16 and 17 year olds - discussion at the Rep Committee level is ongoing as to how we plan to approach Midget Rep next season. Again, please forward your intent as it relates to a Rep Coaching Position for the 08-09 season to the DMHA at dmha@sympatico.ca.

Hockey Development - Player Development Nights
Please note that due to the position of a Vice President of Hockey Development remaining vacant despite the efforts of the DMHA executive to find an appropriate candidate, the ice times for Player Development nights will not move forward for the 2007-2008 hockey season. This very important position requires someone who can coordinate, organize and schedule all divisions of the DMHA that are to be included in development nights.
Although the DMHA has had input from those who wish to run the ice for a specific division, unfortunately this does not meet the mandate set for the Development Night initiative which can only move forward if efforts are targeted to the entire league.
In moving forward the DMHA, hopes to have an individual in the DMHA step forward who is willing to fulfill the obligation of the Vice President Hockey Development and meets the set criteria. This is an appointed position and has privileges not only for organizing development nights but in fulfilling a most important position on the DMHA Executive.
Should you be interested in fulfilling this role in the 2008-2009 hockey season, please contact the DMHA at dmha@sympatico.ca. It should be noted that development nights will only move forward when this very important role is filled.
